Infractions

Issue warnings, suspensions, and bans to manage staff discipline consistently across your workspace.

Elite Subscription Required

The Infractions feature requires an Elite subscription.

The Infraction System lets you formally discipline staff members with structured warning types and full audit trails. Every infraction is tracked and creates a corresponding Logbook entry.

Overview

The Infraction System provides:

  • Warning Types — Verbal warnings, written warnings, suspensions, and bans
  • Enforcement — Suspensions restrict dashboard access; bans permanently remove and block members
  • Revocation — Admins can revoke infractions when appropriate
  • Logbook Integration — Every infraction automatically creates a Logbook entry

Issuing an Infraction

  1. Navigate to Staff > Members and select a member
  2. Go to the Infractions tab
  3. Click Issue Infraction
  4. Choose the infraction type:
    • Verbal Warning — Informal notice, lightest severity
    • Written Warning — Formal documented warning
    • Suspension — Temporary restriction from the dashboard with a set duration
    • Ban — Permanent removal from the workspace
  5. Enter a reason and any additional notes
  6. Click Issue Infraction

When you issue an infraction, a Logbook entry is automatically created with the infraction details. See the Logbook guide for more.

The reason you provide is visible to the affected member. Write clear, professional reasons.

Suspension Duration

When issuing a suspension, you must specify the duration in days. Suspended members will see a restricted dashboard showing:

  • The reason for their suspension
  • When the suspension ends

Suspensions are automatically expired by the system when the end date is reached.

Enforcement

Suspensions

When a member is suspended, they will see a full-screen overlay when accessing the workspace dashboard. The overlay displays the suspension reason and end date. They cannot interact with any workspace features until the suspension expires or is revoked.

Bans

When a member is banned:

  • They are immediately removed from the workspace
  • They are permanently blocked from rejoining via invite codes, manual addition, or sync rules
  • The ban must be revoked by an Admin or Owner before the member can rejoin

Revoking an Infraction

If an infraction was issued in error or the member has demonstrated improvement:

  1. Navigate to Staff > Members and select the member
  2. Go to the Infractions tab
  3. Find the infraction in the list
  4. Click Revoke
  5. Enter a reason for the revocation
  6. Click Confirm Revocation

Revoked infractions remain visible in the history but are marked as revoked and no longer enforced.

Viewing Infraction History

Each member's infraction history is available from the Infractions tab on their member profile.

The history shows:
